After a long quarantine, authorities from both Nayarit and Jalisco have given the green light for Hotels and Motels in Riviera Nayarit to re-open as from the 15th of June 2020. This new reality will require the collaboration of the entire community, both users and business, but we are beyond excited to welcome you again!

The regulations and protocols set for the re-opening are strict and mandatory, Hotels & Motels can re-open to 25% of their capacity, vacational properties for rent & beach clubs can also re-open respecting the same limits. For the moment, beaches in Nayarit will remain closed, but are expected to re-open very soon too.

Only few days ago Riviera Nayarit received its Travel Safety Stamp granded by the World Travel and Tourism Council, only given to those destinations that fulfill with all the sanitary protocols to face COVID-19 in all their tourist stablishments. This Travel Safety Stamp was created with the main objective of boosting the responsable reactivation of tourist activity, so affected by this pandemic, and, at the same time, providing confidence to all travelers about the hygiene and disinfection standards used by all companies in the sector.

At Punta Mita, an exhaustive program that involves the entire community has been launched, implementing an extensive series of policies and procedures for both staff and residents/guests. The Tail of the Whale restaurant will reopen on June 16th, while Pacifico Beach Club and Sufi Ocean Club are expected to reopen very soon. As per the end of last week, authorities gave the green light to the beaches re-opening, but then the announcement was revoked, and the opening of all beaches, rivers, and lagoons has been postponed until further notice.

The inauguration and opening for the very first time "El Surf Club" in Ranchos 21 (La Lancha) is scheduled for July 1st, same day that both Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita and The St Regis Punta Mita Resort will be reopened to the same capacity restrictions.

It is important to clarify that all the mentioned dates are subject to any change that local or federal government may deem necessary.

Little by little our community is going back to the new reality, PLEASE, abide and respect the Rules and Regulations in place, protocols were established to keep us all safe and healthy.
