With the main goal of promoting the social and economical reactivation of communities throughout the entire country, communities that were deeply affected by the Covid-19 crisis, Comunalia and Fundación Coca-Cola created the Fondo Comunidades Activas (Active Communities Fund), an initiative that has arrived at our region thanks to Fundación Punta de Mita.

Fondo de Comunidades Activas is an initiative is looking to strengthen the actions that community foundations and non-profit organizations are implementing in fields like water access, humanitarian aid, support to small businesses, and support the youth and women.

This is how MitaReactiva was created, to support small local businesses providing mentorships in different core areas for them as marketing, communication plan development, social media, community savings, successful team building, etc.

Once the workshops program is concluded, 25 projects will be selected and they'll be able to choose between a Tablet or financing for materials and equipment (up to $3,000 pesos per project), the idea is to help them find solutions to reactivate the economy in their community and make their business grow to become part of this success.
