What better place than the downtown area of Bucerias! In addition to good food and drink, it's the perfect place to dance and have a great time. There are all kinds of bars to satisfy all tastes and budgets. Here are my favorite recommendations of local bars that you can't miss.
Sunshine bar
In this small bar the atmosphere is totally casual and beachy, plus their snacks are delicious. This is the perfect place to start the night and relax if you've had a long day. In the evenings, the live music provides the best atmosphere to make new friends and enjoy a game of pool. You definitely have to try the margaritas; you won't regret it!
Luna Lounge
There is no other bar like Luna Lounge in the area. It offers a completely different experience from all the other bars in the neighborhood. Here you can not only treat yourself to a delicious buffet style dinner or a grill night, here while you dine you will also be entertained by the amazing Drag Queen shows and musical tributes with excellent live bands and talented singers. I assure you; you will have a great time!
YoYo Mo's Pizza Sports
If you are a sports fan and are looking for a place to watch all the games of your favorite teams around the world, this is the place you are looking for. This sports bar has numerous TV screens everywhere, pool tables and a great atmosphere. Celebrate the victories or forget the defeats with your friends while sharing a delicious pizza. Jax Bar & Grill
We want Roooock! If you are a rock fan, this is the place for you. At Jax you can rock on and on and on. Here you will find the best bands in the area. Every day you can listen to some great live music, not just rock though, but of all genres. Have a nice cocktail or sip a cold beer accompanied by some appetizers from the varied and delicious menu offered by Jax. Get ready to sweat it out dancing, singing and, above all, rocking out.
El Jefe Napo
When I heard about this peculiar bar, I was amazed. El Jefe Napo is a bar that offers authentic pulque mixed with an incredible selection of electronic music and DJ's - all in the heart of Bucerias. To me, this equals pure bliss! This is the only place in the area that serves pulque, the sweet nectar of the gods. Made in Tlaxcala, El Jefe Napo's pulque can be tasted plain or cured with flavors like mango, mint, strawberry, piña colada, marzipan and more. Here you will spend unforgettable nights with their special events such as local art exhibitions or, my favorite, the "Ink and Drink" where you can get tattooed by the best artists in the area while you drink your pulquito. Finally, don't forget to try the chicken wings, they are the best!
