Championship golf, exceptional dining, entertainment, and special celebrations mark a new season of experiences in Punta Mita. Located along the Pacific coast of Riviera Nayarit, the destination welcomes visitors from around the world with a calendar that brings together sports, international cuisine, and memorable experiences that reflect its distinctive hospitality.
Throughout October and November, the calendar features golf tournaments, culinary gatherings with internationally renowned chefs, and events that invite visitors to experience Punta Mita beyond its beaches.
Known for its exceptional golf courses, Punta Mita is home to two distinguished courses, Pacifico Golf Course and Bahia Golf Course, both designed by Jack Nicklaus. Alongside its sporting offerings, the destination's culinary scene and seasonal events make it a place where memorable experiences extend both on and off the course.
Golf: A Meeting Point for Players from Around the World
The season opened with the NB3 Junior Golf National Championship, held October 24. Dedicated to young golfers, the competition marked the beginning of a calendar that continues to bring players and visitors together through their shared passion for the sport.
On October 15, the 15th Aeroméxico Golf Tournament will be one of the highlights of the calendar. The tournament will take place at Pacifico Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, with the support of Gaby López, one of Mexico's leading representatives in golf. The experience will be complemented by the hospitality of Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, bringing together the excitement of competition and the distinctive hospitality of the destination.
Beyond the competition, the tournament highlights the importance of partnerships that connect Riviera Nayarit with travelers from around the world. Air connectivity plays a fundamental role in bringing destinations closer, facilitating travel, and contributing to the region's tourism development.
This year's edition will also support Fundación DINE Punta Mita and Trasplante y Vida I.A.P., contributing to initiatives related to community development, health, conservation, and awareness of organ and tissue donation. In this way, the tournament extends its reach beyond the golf course, supporting causes that seek to make a positive impact.
From October 2225, Punta Mita will host the inaugural National Senior Amateur Championship, a new addition to the calendar for experienced golfers. Open to players aged 50 and older with a USGA Handicap Index of 5 or lower, the tournament includes three rounds of competition, a practice round, daily breakfasts, a welcome dinner, and an awards ceremony cocktail.
With the field limited to 120 players, the inaugural championship will bring together experienced golfers for three rounds of competition in the distinctive setting of Punta Mita.
A Celebration of Punta Mita's Flavors
On October 31, Flavors of Punta Mita will celebrate the destination's culinary scene with an evening that brings together two traditions: Día de Muertos, one of Mexico's most representative cultural celebrations, and Halloween, with its festive spirit. The combination creates an opportunity to enjoy the flavors and traditions associated with this time of year in Punta Mita.
The event will also offer the opportunity to enjoy the culinary offerings of the destination's leading restaurants, accompanied by live music and a festive atmosphere that invites guests to gather, share, and celebrate.
Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf Celebrates 15 Years
From November 58, Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf will celebrate its 15th edition, bringing together two of the destination's defining attractions: golf and international gastronomy.
Over the past fifteen years, the event has developed a distinctive identity shaped by its intimate atmosphere and careful attention to detail. From the golf courses to the menus and the company around the table, each element contributes to an experience that reflects the character of Punta Mita.
This year's edition will welcome special guests including Lorena Ochoa, Rafael Alarcón, Larry Brown, and Virgil Herring, alongside renowned chefs whose careers include recognition from the Michelin Guide. Among the chefs associated with the event are Mauro Colagreco, Kazuo Harada, César de la Parra, Federico Fernández, Héctor Leyva, Sam Choy, and Xavier Salomon, among others.
Over the years, Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf has incorporated a charitable purpose into its celebrations, supporting initiatives that make a positive impact on the community. The 15th edition continues this commitment with activities benefiting the Lorena Ochoa Foundation and PEACE Punta Mita.
More than a culinary celebration, Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf offers an opportunity to experience the destination through its flavors, its people, and its surroundings, while supporting causes that contribute to the well-being of the community.
A celebration of worl-class jazz in paradise
Beyond the fairways and the culinary scene, music takes center stage as the Punta Mita Festival Internacional de Jazz returns November 1314 for two days of exceptional performances along the Pacific coast. Featuring acclaimed artists such as the Eliane Elias Quartet, Chris Walker, Rebecca Jade, and more, the festival brings together soulful vocals, captivating saxophone melodies, and the distinctive rhythms of world-class jazz. A portion of the festival's proceeds will benefit Fundación DINE Punta Mita, supporting education, healthcare, community development, and social well-being initiatives for local families
